Big Girl Steps

This morning in Physical Therapy Sister surprised her PT and I by taking several great steps using a push toy! We have a toy similar to this one at home, so I'm excited to see what we can work on this week. Here is a short video from this morning...

About Me

Being a Mom is the hardest, most rewarding job I've ever held. Most days my family makes it to bedtime with great memories and little tears, but like most moms, there are days that l fail miserably, serve frozen pancakes for dinner and forget to sign homework before sending the kids to bed. That's my life, the good, the bad and everything in between! I'm proud of my kiddos and thankful for their Dad, my amazingly supportive Hubby. My son is all boy; he loves Legos, video games, sports, and playgrounds. Every day is a new adventure and he is constantly making me laugh. My sweet girl is the bravest person I know! She was diagnosed shortly before her 1st birthday with a chromosome disorder called 2q23.1 Microdeletion Syndrome. What she lacks in abilities she more than makes up for in personality! She loves silly songs, stuffed animals, snack time, patty cake and her family. There was a lot of doom and gloom surrounding her diagnosis, but I believe that Faith makes all things possible, not easy!
