My Personal Intervention

SELF, you have a lot of great ideas, but you have zero time to follow even 1/2 of them through. Your family is first, managing the household is second, everything else is tied for third, at least for now. It is not important to say yes to everyone that asks you to help, volunteer, contribute, work, or attend. Your friends will understand why you are not always there, so don't worry about what everyone else thinks. It is OK to ask for HELP...I repeat, it. is. ok. to. ask. for. help! But then you have to actually accept that help too. Listen to your parents, they really do know what they are talking about. You might want to start multitasking more often, for example you can watch Glee and fold laundry at the same time! The "Perform Service" light on your car is NOT a suggestion, especially if you want to avoid another lecture from your husband. Bring back regular Date Nights with your husband, you both need that time away together. Perhaps launching a direct sales business this spring was not the best timing; you should wait to launch a new business until after you have perfected your time management skills, or found a way to add 3 more hours to your day. People will disappoint you, but don't make such a big deal about it...just delete them on Facebook and move on. Stop complaining about the way you look...put down the cookie/piece of cake/bowl of ice cream and do something about it. You are allowed to feel scared, angry, sad, or jealous; just don't let it consume you. Remember that God is with you on this journey, and He will not let you fail. Now, grab a Diet Dr. Pepper and a big hug from your adorable kids and listen to yourself for once.
