Here is a look back at our year...
Brother had the coolest super hero birthday party ever, sang in his first school musical, broke his collar bone on the playground, learned to hold his breath under water and swim with a little help, learned what a real "hero" is, became an inventor-little chef-best helper, started Preschool and Sunday School, drew a million pictures, was a ninja turtle for Halloween, started saying grace for our family at every meal, really understood Christmas this year, and continues to grow up entirely too fast.
Sister received her first pair of eye glasses, started PT twice a week and OT/Speech once a week, celebrated one of her first milestones with family and friends watching (eating her first birthday cake!), had her first trip to the pool, took 2 ambulance rides, spent 3 nights in the hospital (total), started rolling around everywhere, started showing us her personality and dimples, grew some super cute curls, took her first assisted steps, made some new friends, and proved that she will exceed everyone's expectations!
We tried selling our house with no luck, had our first 911 call (followed by our second 2 months later), learned how to ask for help and accept it, traveled to Beaufort and Charleston as a family, learned what a budget was, found out who our friends are and met some really great new ones along the way, spent several hours talking with medical professionals, grew closer to God and our family moved from asking "what if" to "what next"!

Love your blog as usual. Thank you for giving me more strength and sometimes even an attitude adjustment by showing such grace and hope in your own life. Praying for a healthier and joyous New Year for you all!
